Courtney has more than 15 years of experience in the health care field and brings a wide range of skills to her role as a consultant. Now a Certified Content Expert of NCQA's Patient-Centered Medical Home program (PCMH CCE), her most recent contribution was the management of the Adirondack Medical Home Pilot project in which she implemented NCQA’s Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition with 33 physician practices, seven private health plans, and five hospitals and health systems. In addition, she consulted with 11 hospital institutions to prepare documentation for submission and recognition with PCMH. Courtney has worked with a diverse number of institutions – from small practices, local in nature, to larger organizations, national in scope.

Courtney has served as a consultant for Clinical Integration and Patient Centered Medical Home. In addition, she has served as an NCQA Project Manager, maintaining the standards and guidelines for NCQA Health Plan (HP) Accreditation.

As Director of Medical Staff Services at Lake Regional Health System in Missouri for 13 years, Courtney was responsible for maintaining regulatory and Joint Commission requirements related to the medical staff, as well as managing the medical staff bylaws, policies, rules and regulations. Courtney provided oversight and direction for house-wide quality improvement initiatives, coordinated process improvement efforts and benchmarked “best in class” operations to foster the highest quality performance throughout the organization.

Along with her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and MBA in Healthcare Administration, Courtney has extensive training and certification in Medical Services Management, Provider Credentialing, and NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home Recognition.
