Cindy has over 30 years of experience in healthcare, with the past 20 years assisting healthcare organizations in accreditations (Joint Commission, NCQA, URAC, AAAHC) and more. She has expansive healthcare career has its roots in Florida where, in the late 1990’s, as a certified trauma RN, she built a business as CEO of World –Wide Air Ambulance Company which offered two Lear jets and one twin engine Cessna for both acute and chronic Medi-vac. Her subsequent employment with home agencies, hospitals and health plans led to leadership roles and responsibilities to include accreditation at both state and federal levels.

In her career, she has held increasingly responsible positions, serving as Director of Risk Management for a large health plan, responsible for their Risk Management Program (level 3), and as Chief Nurse Executive, responsible for the oversight of UM, Referrals, Case and Disease Management, and Wellness Programs effecting 16,000 individuals. She has also held the title of Director of Quality Improvement/Accreditation helping achieve successful Joint Commission Accreditation for and AAAHC accreditation for nearly 50 clinics. Cindy has also served as a Compliance Officer, having represented clients in mediation related to Medicare and Medicaid fraud.


She has extensive knowledge of HEDIS and STARS programs, held top level positions in each, and assisted National plans focused on their state of Florida Plan to improve HEDIS scores, patient safety, utilization management, and STARS ratings. As an independent consultant, she has helped many organizations achieve URAC and NCQA accreditations, assisting them by writing up policies and procedures and leading staff training to help them achieve a score of 100%.

Cindy has an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, specializing in Health Services Administration. She is a Legal Nurse Consultant, Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager, and is certified in Quality Improvement, Case Management, Utilization, and Workers Comp. by the Risk Mgmt. Institute.
