Natasha

Natasha R. Reid, worked for NCQA for 15 years where she began her career as an Accreditation Manager working with organizations as a liaison ushering them through the survey accreditation and certification process and managing a 16-product suite to include Managed Care Organizations (MCO), Managed Behavioral Health (MBHO), Disease Management, WHP, and Credentialing Verification Organizations (CVO). Her roles during her tenure included serving as an Accreditation Survey Coordinator (ASC), Administrative Surveyor, Executive Reviewer, and Incorporation of Comments Reviewer. Natasha also served as the Team lead and consultant for more than 100 healthcare organizations nation-wide seeking accreditation. Natasha currently serves as an active surveyor and trainer/mentor to newer surveyors learning the NCQA survey process and an ER/IOC reviewer.

     Additionally, Natasha served as adjunct faculty for the following seminars: Case Management, Hands on Interactive Survey System, and Intro to Credentialing. With a love of education, Natasha transitioned and worked as a Program Manager in the Education Department. During her tenure she created, managed, and implemented NCQA’s Education classroom-based seminars, live and learner-accessible Web-based programs, corporate trainings, and internal education programs in compliance with ACCME, ANCC, and ACPE regulations

     Natasha has more than 20 years of health care expertise working in various roles ranging from marketing to accreditation.  Natasha holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Boston College and a master’s degree in Health Communications from Emerson College and Tufts University School of Medicine. Natasha current serves as an active NCQA surveyor. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Bowie State University where she teaches Life and Health Classes to undergraduate students. Additionally, she has several advance certificates in education and event management.
